The question was--how do I know if a subject is "outside of myself" enough to write about it for the personal essay? Basically, a subject is far enough outside of yourself if it is researchable--if you can Google it or find information about it in a book.

what is due tomorrow,2/3/09? The syllabus claims that we have a rough draft due. Is this true?
ReplyDeletelinnea: you're probably getting this late, but the only essays due tomorrow are for those people (in this case, a single person) who are getting workshopped on Thursday. Depending on what group you're in, your essay is either due the 12th or the 15th.
ReplyDeleteSuper urgent questions--perhaps like this one?--can be directed to my email.
